Retreats & Gatherings

What services do we offer?

Co.school's work designing and leading retreat experiences can include:
Discovery and co-design:
Crafting an original experience that meets your needs.
Facilitation & hosting:
Offering services of hosting through participatory dialogue, often applied in service of vision, strategy and future-finding.
Speaking and keynotes: Original talks created to connect with your people in meaningful ways.

This season, we're leaning more into experiences that include play-based explorations, story-driven sessions, embodiment and nature. Basically, if it gets us out of our heads, away from screens, into relationship and authenticity, we're here for it.

Feel free to get in touch to explore your initial ideas!

Where do we host?

We've hosted sessions at retreats throughout British Columbia, Alberta, Canada, the US and the UK (and are open to travelling to unique locations.)

In Kelowna, BC, in the beautiful Okanagan region, plenty of spaces exist for enriching connection, surrounded by nature: Sparkling Hills, SOMA Craft Cidery, Laurel Packinghouse, the Innovation Centre, Rotary Centre for the Arts

In Vancouver and the surrounding region, we've enjoyed spaces like: Loon Lake Lodge (Maple Ridge / UBC Research Forest), the Museum of Vancouver, and many more.

We help gather your people for

Co-creating for the kids
As a not-for-profit supporting the space of children’s health, Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation partnered with Co.school to co-design and lead an all-staff retreat centered on deepening their understanding of co-creation. Hosted in a gorgeous natural setting in Calgary, AB, the staff left feeling more nourished, connected and empowered to lead co-creatively.
FACING THE FUTURE
In the midst of shifting realities locally and globally, leadership from around the Ecclesiastical Province gathered to collaboratively rebuild and renew their collective vision. With play-based visioning exercises, and plenty of time for reflection, connection and food, this group of leaders did the hard work of surfacing truths that needed to be shared, to better prepare for their future.
Advancing autism advocacy
As a convener and knowledge mobilizer in the space of autism support networks, AIDE Canada invited Co.school to help design and lead a multi-day engagement to tackle long-standing challenges in the autism space. The conference involved 80 participants (from government, health care, non-profit and self-advocacy), and generated tremendous momentum for continued work ahead.

What participants say

"What you are offering and communicating is hope. A hope for a better world through individual and group connectivity through transparent and honest communications. You believe in the power of people and the human soul."
Anthony Fisher, Coach and Executive Leader
"I rarely see this kind of courage and kindness blended so coherently in the wild. Relentlessly, Kevan calls us out of frenzied, lonely, and silo’ed habits to re-inhabit our higher selves and reconnect with each other."

Alvin Engler, Founder and technologist
"The experience Co.school has had with so many different groups of people engenders a sense of trust seldom found elsewhere. I would recommend Co.school to anyone who is looking for people that will put the needs of your organization and those you serve first, as well as to anyone seeking incredible facilitators!”
Sarah Thomson, Program Coordinator for Foundry and FIYSN
Come together. Right now.

(Not) over Zoom.

In a world of digital fakes and screen fatigue, genuine human connection matters more than ever.

This might be the calling of our time: to restore connection with nature, with ourselves, and with each other...

Presence in the present
is the antidote
to absence and distance.
